#753 - 3¢ Byrd Expedition: Plate Block - without gum

In 1929 Richard Byrd established "Little America", an Antarctic exploration base located on the Ross Ice Shelf. This stamp was used to pay postage from Little America and was available only through the Philatelic Sales Agency. One of "Farley's Follies", this stamp was issued perforated but without gum.
