Austria #538 Traditional Costume - 1950 Mint NH Key Value

The attractive Austrian Costume series from 1948-1952 included this 1-schilling value picturing a woman in the native dress of the Puster Valley of the Alpine Tyrol region. This key value to the set was quickly replaced by the same design printed in dark green, and is very difficult to find in mint never-hinged condition. (Austria #538)
