World War II Manchukuo - 1940-41 Mint Set of 4

Manchukuo, covering northeast China, was a Japanese puppet state that existed for only 14 years. These 4 mint stamps, issued during the early days of World War II, commemorate the 2600th anniversary of the Japanese Empire and the beginning of mandatory conscription for the war, when native Chinese men were drafted into the Japanese army.
