1873 3¢ Washington - US #158 - Save $35!

This design was printed by three different security printers from 1870-1888 National, Continental & American Bank Note companies and are a challenge to distinguish. The unused 1873 Continental issue includes a "secret mark" to differentiate it from the earlier version, and is on the thin hard paper used prior to the 1879 printings.
