#4165 - 41¢ Louis Comfort Tiffany

With a passion that developed in his late-20s, Louis Comfort Tiffany’s glasswork is some of the most famous from the Art Nouveau period of the 1890s-1910s. His company, Tiffany Studios, produced the famous Tiffany lamps which have been previously honored on several stamps. Each one was assembled by hand by skilled artisans using revolutionary techniques for the time period.
