Save $70 off our regular price!

Daughter of Powhatan, chief of a tribe friendly to the settlers of Jamestown, Pocahontas is said to have saved the life of Captain John Smith. Captured by the English in a 1613 battle, she converted to Christianity and took the name Rebecca. In 1614 she married tobacco planter John Rolfe and travelled to London where, as an example a "civilized savage", she became a celebrity, adopting the dress and manners of English nobility.

While this 110-year-old unused 5¢ issue picturing Pocahontas may have minor imperfections such as pulled perfs, disturbed gum or a straight edge, it will be a welcome addition to your collection - and you can save $55 off our regular price!
